Your Worldwide Box Office

The animated features' performance around the world:

Foreign Weekend Box Office -- (World Totals)

ANIMATION

How To Train Dragon 2 -- $11,500,000 -- ($489,536,115)

Planes: F & R -- $3,500,000 -- ($90,450,000)

HALFWAY ANIMATION

Teenage Mutant Turtles -- $28,700,000 -- ($93,700,000)

Guardians of Galaxy -- $40,100,000 -- ($313,222,000)

Dawn of Apes -- $29,500,000 -- ($506,033,624)

Everything appears to be raking in nice coin here except for Planes Deux, which doesn't seem as if it will match the $$200 million worldwide gross of Planes Numero Uno. But maybe they just haven't hit the high-flying (pun intended) markets yet.

As Rentrak's Paul Dergerabedian says:

... Paramount's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" tops the worldwide chart with $93.7 million in just 20 territories including North America and $28.7 million from the 19 international markets. ...

Michael Bay and CG animation, they're doing well.
